In 2017, the classic Givenchy Gentlmen fragrance received a completely new, modernized reinterpretation under de name of Gentleman Givenchy, which seeks to showcase how this fragrance would be if it was only made today. The composition has been announced as a woody – floral – fougere, signed by Firmenich perfumers Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson. The fragrance is described as a mixture of “power and sweetness”.
Top notes: pear, cardamom Heart: iris, lavender Base: patchouli – leather accord, black vanilla The face of the fragrance is actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and the advertising campaign is directed by his wife, Sam Taylor-Johnson. The bottle, with its graphic design and massive glass weight, gives a modern look to its classic design. Gentleman Givenchy is available as 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
